hi again, i went to this site http://192.168.0.0 and found alot of option. i am really bad at computers i could not find the place where to reduce the speed of the wireless ( to increase the ethernet) or the speed limiter. Desi can u plz be more precise thanx as for what J T said it is true that the spyware and viruses reduce the speed of the computer. i scanned both laptops and destops. founs trojan.clicker.cm in laptop 1, nothing in laptop 2 and a cookie in the desktop. i also used system mechanic to optimize the pz preformance. and also i want to comment on what "Afraid of Flu" my desktop is way better spec are WAY better than my laptops but when i play counter strike on my destop it lags ,due to i guess, weak connection but it lags way less than my laptop. computer pc spec : geforce 6600, 2 gb dd ram, speed 1.86. laptop 1 specs : amd turion , 1 gb ram , and some weak video card. laptop 2 specs : celeron , 1 gb ram , rd card not sure i will check later.

Is there a wireless modem for dial-up internet service? (Answers: 3) (Comments: 0)
My parents just got a laptop computer (pc). DSL isn't available in their area and they don't want cable hookup due to price. They wanted the laptop so they can move around the house, but are limited due to the dial-up phone cord. Is there such a thing as a wireless dial-up router? I have a DSL router, but don't know if a wireless network is available for dial-up. I'd appreciate serious responses!

A few years ago I wanted a laptop so my dad got me one. It is probably the worst computer ever, oh what am I saying, IT SUCKS. It turns off when its unplugged from the battery, it randomly drops our internet connection, it lags when I exit out of PAINT and the Windows security alert POP UPS, everything is pirated, the Windows Media player doesn't even work, it had viruses WHEN IT WAS BOUGHT, I can't play any kind of PC games, such as Battlefield Heroes, etc without my computer randomly crashing or lagging slow as heck, It's a BUSINESS computer (Come on, I'm just a kid), and It's one of the older versions of the Dell Latitude (D610 -_-). Anyways I want a new laptop that has lots of RAM, a great video card (I'm pretty sure that's whats need to play PC games), a long lasting battery, Windows 7 at most :D, lot's of space on my hard drive (I think that's the same thing as RAM). I'm one of those gamers that wants to play Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 dead VERY BAD. I am searching for laptops/computers under 400 dollars. (Once again, I am 13 I don't have that much money...) Oh yeah, it has to be a DELL laptop/computer because I have no experience with Mac.
